Intervention, Stat! (2 days)
A 2 day program designed to address rifts and discourse in a practice. At the end of our time we will have identified key issues and create a plan to change behavior and perspectives. This is VERY MUCH like a “family therapy.” The first part of the day is spent gathering information from key players about the problem and we move from there to didactic pieces to support discussion and resolution. Because of the sensitive nature of these issues MMS requests an interview with the clinic before scheduling an intervention. Full reports and recommendations come with this service.

Practice Audit/Assessment (1-3 days)
This labor-intensive program, conducted by MMS at the practice facility, will result in a detailed report that reflects the anonymous opinions of your practice from human resources to management. Minimum interview time per employee is 45 minutes.

Strategic Planning Program (2-3 days)
This is an opportunity for a hospital that has lost its way and needs new direction. MMS will create and/or revise the practice’s mission, vision, purpose and values. Emphasis is placed on identifying key strategic initiatives. This is accomplished through a diagnostic process called strategic planning. After the site visit, MMS will prepare a customized Strategic Plan Report that outlines the current business plan for the coming year and beyond; providing the practice with an in-house, ‘working’ tool to build upon, identify and implement targeted strategies.

Practice Enhancement Program (2-3 days)
This program combines strategic planning and practice assessment in creative collaboration with the practice team. This is for the practice that knows something has to change, but doesn’t necessarily know who, what, when and why. MMS will prepare a Practice Enhancement Report that provides direct insight into education, motivation, investigation and appropriate action.

Customized One-Day Consultation:
Drawing from the list of MMS speaking topics and the hospital’s practice goals, MMS will create a customized full-day program (half-day program available upon request).

Please have available an LCD projector compatible with a PC, lavaliere microphone and flip chart for all onsite presentations. Typically these programs are held at either a hotel or meeting space where a continental breakfast and a full lunch can be served along with refreshments throughout the day. Adequate conference space at the hospital is also acceptable, as long as the site allows for an uninterrupted program.
